About the company: Faraday Robotics is an international company founded in 2019. We have successfully delivered over 140 projects in the field of autonomous systems. We build solutions capable of operating without GPS or internet — autonomously, reliably, and safely.

We are currently looking for an AI & Computer Vision Engineer for ECITON, our GPS-free swarm platform. You will develop and optimize SLAM, mapping, computer vision pipelines, and deploy ML models onboard drones. This role is critical for enabling autonomous navigation, target detection, last-mile operations, and real‑time multi‑drone coordination.

🔘 Responsibilities
  • Build SLAM systems and object tracking pipelines (OpenCV)
  • Deploy ML models for onboard inference
  • Develop GPS‑free navigation: sensor fusion, obstacle avoidance
  • Integrate AI for target detection and decision‑making
  • Optimize models and algorithms for ARM devices (Jetson, Raspberry Pi)
  • Collaborate closely with embedded, software, and hardware teams
🔘 Who we are looking for
  • Strong expertise in OpenCV, SLAM, and localization algorithms
  • Proficiency in C++ and Python, experience with ROS or ROS2
  • Experience training and deploying ML models (TensorFlow, PyTorch)
  • Understanding of embedded Linux systems
  • Ability to configure, test, and debug systems in field conditions
  • Basic knowledge of aerodynamics and motion planning
