A local nursery is seeking a Part-time Nursery Childcare Assistant to provide care for children aged 0-5 years. Responsibilities include feeding, nappy changing, and working as part of a team under supervision. Qualifications

• Hold a childcare qualification Level 2 or above.
• Experience working with children in age groups.
• Preferred experience in a Nursery setting for children aged 0-5 years.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily care for children including feeding and nappy changing.
• Work as part of the team under the guidance of Room Supervisors.
• Communicate with staff and report to parents at the end of the day.

Part-time Nursery Childcare Assistant to work afternoons within the different age groups of children in the Nursery 0-2 years, 2-3 years & 3-4 years.Nursery Assistants are responsible for providing the daily care of the children in Nursery, providing appropriate age activities for the children on a daily basis alongsideproviding the care required within each age group, feeding bottles, sleep times, feeding, nappy changing and toileting.You will be required to work as part of the team in each room under the supervison and guidance of the Room Supervisors and Assistant Supervisors.This is a brief description of some of the duties required for the position further details will be provided on application. Responsibilities

• Providing the care required within each age group, feeding bottles, sleep times, feeding, nappy changing and toileting.
• You will be required to work as part of the team in each room under guidance of the Room Supervisors and Assistant Supervisors.
• Working as part of the team, communicating messages with staff members and giving a brief report to parents at the end of the day.

Skills and Qualifications

• To hold a childcare qualification in Level 2 or above for the position.
• Experience working with children in age groups and working within a team.
• Preferred to have experience working within a Nursery setting with children aged between 0-5 years.
