Overview

A Mandarin or Cantonese-speaking after-school nanny is needed by this busy family to care for their baby, toddler, and two school-aged children. The family seeks a reliable, energetic, and enthusiastic nanny who can carry out all childcare duties, provide engaging after-school care, and support early homework routines. Fluency in Mandarin, Cantonese, and English to a native level is essential. A valid first aid qualification is required.

Responsibilities

• Safely pick up the children from school
• Assist with homework, reading, and studying
• Support the youngest child with early learning activities, including writing, basic phonics, and reading
• Engage the children in stimulating indoor and outdoor activities
• Drive or walk the children to extracurricular activities as needed
• Support with evening and bedtime routines
• Tidy bedrooms by making beds and putting away toys and clothes
• Organise the playroom, including toys, books, and crafts
• Clean the children’s bathroom, including the sink, toilet, tub, and floor
• Manage laundry, including washing, drying, and folding clothes
• Pack school bags with books, lunch, and water bottles
• Check homework and school notes
• Lay out uniforms or clothes for the next day
• Prepare fresh, homemade meals for young children with a focus on healthy eating
