A local educational service provider in Lewes is seeking an After School Club Assistant to support pupils from Reception to Year 4 in a nurturing environment. The role involves supervising children in various activities from Monday to Friday, 3pm to 6pm. Overview

After School Club Assistant | Mon-Fri, 3-6pm | Reception - Year 4

Location: Lewes

Hours: 3:00pm - 6:00pm, Monday to Friday (term-time only)

About the Role

As part of our After School Club team, you will support pupils from Reception to Year 4 in a nurturing and engaging environment.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and engage children in a variety of fun, age-appropriate activities (arts & crafts, games, outdoor play, etc.).
  • Ensure a safe and welcoming environment where children can relax, socialise, and enjoy their time after school.
  • Support pupils' emotional wellbeing and encourage positive behaviour.
  • Help with snacks and tidy-up routines as needed.
What We're Looking For
  • Experience working with children in a school or childcare setting (preferred).
  • A warm, approachable manner and a genuine passion for supporting young learners.
  • Reliability and commitment to working Monday to Friday, 3pm-6pm.
  • A team player with good communication skills.
