Overview

To effectively manage the Adverting and Sales Promotion activities of the Valtra brand in the UK and Ireland markets, ensuring that all A&SP expenditure is managed within agreed budgets, specifically developing the brand image as defined in the Valtra Brand Strategy review document. In addition to the above work with the Valtra NSM, to identify high volume potential dealers, and develop and agree a bespoke dealer Marketing action plan, for each dealer, incorporating, brand sales development activities, including Exhibition and Shows. Managing social media and general published press events on Product Launches. Your Impact:

Responsibilities
  • Manage A&SP budget to maximise impact including management within budget shows and events. Monitor and identify opportunities within the market and provide feedback on how to develop new promotions and programmes for Valtra in collaboration with Valtra Central Marketing Department.
  • Marketing activities should be developed and monitored on AGCO Platforms. Take lead responsibility for social media brand awareness development. Organize, set up and run national shows and events and provide support to dealer events where required.
  • Assist ASMs in introducing new sales promotion schemes and incentives to drive market share growth. Monitor cost effectiveness of all A&SP expenses. Work with dealers as agreed with NSM, in managing their marketing to align with campaigns.
  • Valtra App and Showell management of publishing information to the dealer sales network. Assist sales support team to ensure smooth working practices with shows and demonstrations on H&S risk assessments, etc. Manage additional sales/product/marketing support to newly appointed dealers to ensure fast start-up. Provide support to the DCX one digital working with factory and dealers throughout UK & Ireland on managing opportunities.
  • Management of the A&SP budget for all Sales & Marketing spend for both UK & Ireland. Update and develop the Valtra UK website. Editor of Valtra teams Magazine 2 times per year. Local photography requirements on new product and testimonials. Press management of new enquiries and keeping database up to date. You will work in hybrid mode from our Stoneleigh, Warwickshire site.

Qualifications
  • Minimum Level of Education Required for Position: Bachelor's Degree in Marketing and digital business management (Must have)
  • 5+ Years of Business Experience Required (Relevant to Position)
  • The incumbent would need to have a high understanding of how all functions within an agricultural machinery dealership operates, including a knowledge and understanding of their customers' requirements.
  • Fully understanding of sales processes and an ability to train/coach those skills to others. Highly organized with a proven ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently.
  • Additionally, an ability to understand and use AGCO's IT platform, namely AGCO Digital platforms, AGCO Net, SAP and SRM systems.
