A regional healthcare organization is seeking a motivated specialist clinical Pharmacist to join their Emergency Departments at The Royal Shrewsbury Hospital and The Princess Royal Hospital. The successful applicant will provide high-level clinical pharmacy input, optimize medication regimes as an independent prescriber, and develop the competencies of other pharmacists. This role offers a supportive environment and opportunities for personal development, particularly for those needing to achieve the Independent Prescribing qualification.

If your answer is yes to any of the above then we have an exciting opportunity available within our Pharmacy departments at both The Royal Shrewsbury Hospital (RSH) and The Princess Royal Hospital, Telford (PRH) for a new team of specialist clinical Pharmacists to work within our Emergency Departments.
This is a brand new role within our Trust where we are looking to introduce and develop a clinical service into the Emergency Departments through the formation of a strong clinical pharmacy team at the pivotal point in the patient’s journey. We are also recruiting a team of dedicated Pharmacy Technicians to work within this team.
The successful applicant must be committed to delivering an excellent clinical pharmacy service built around the highest standards for our patients.
The applicant for the specialist role must be suitably qualified, as appropriate to the post. A postgraduate diploma in clinical pharmacy is essential. This is a prescribing role and those candidates who are not currently an independent prescriber will be supported and funded to undertake the qualification.
