Advanced Nurse Practitioner Full time/Part time

Brayford Medical Practice, Lincoln

Brayford Medical Practice is a well-established, friendly city practice with a stable team and a patient list of approximately 10,800. We are seeking an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join us on a permanent basis, working 15 to 37.5 hours per week (flexible by agreement).

This is a well-supported role designed to allow ANPs to work autonomously, safely, and sustainably, as part of a genuine multidisciplinary team.

The role

  • Time built into sessions for admin, results, and follow-up

Job responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Independently assess, diagnose, treat, and manage patients presenting with undifferentiated and differentiated conditions
  • Manage acute, same-day, and routine presentations in line with agreed clinical scope and competencies
  • Prescribe medications appropriately as an independent prescriber
  • Request, interpret, and act upon diagnostic tests and investigations
  • Provide follow-up care, safety-netting, and onward referrals as appropriate
  • Maintain accurate, contemporaneous clinical records using SystmOne
Person Specification
  • Registered Nurse (NMC) with Advanced Practice qualification (Masters level or equivalent)
  • Significant post-registration clinical experience, ideally in primary care or urgent care
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage clinical risk
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to patient-centred care and teamwork
