An exciting opportunity has risen to join our team of Advanced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner at University Hospital Sussex.
We are looking for a dynamic and highly motivated, innovative practitioner to join us and work across site at our ANNP‑Led Level 1 SCBU at the Princess Royal Hospital and our Level 3 tertiary NICU which includes surgery at the Trevor Mann Baby Unit NICU.

We have a new exciting structure with a two‑tiered team. There is opportunity to cross‑site and gain exposure to all different clinical settings and scenarios and we ensure that your clinical and educational needs are met with exposure to all clinical scenarios.
The successful candidate will work clinical with a non‑clinical component which will encompass all four pillars of Advanced Clinical Practice and will contribute to service improvement and professional development.
This role is eligible for visa sponsorship under the UK Visas & Immigration (UKVI) Skilled Worker route however sponsorship can only be provided where applicants meet the specific requirements set by UKVI, including the relevant skill and salary thresholds (£25,000), and any role‑specific criteria.
The post holder with cross cover Tier 1 duties (SHO rota equivalent) at Trevor Mann Baby Unit in Brighton and SCBU at the Princess Royal Hospital in Haywards Heath. The primary base for posting will be at The Princess Royal Hospital Haywards Heath.
The ANNP promotes individualised family‑centred holistic care for the neonate and their family, utilising their advanced skills set and knowledge base. The post‑holder will provide clinical advice, support and teaching to their colleagues in the multidisciplinary team.
Using their advanced clinical skills set and knowledge, the post‑holder will exercise professional autonomy in the delivery of safe, evidence‑based care and deliver high‑quality medical management to all babies in their care within the neonatal unit, post‑natal ward and central delivery suite in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
