A leading healthcare provider in the UK is looking for an Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join their progressive team. The role involves managing acute presentations in Oncology and Haematology across multiple sites. Candidates must be registered with a recognized healthcare body and possess relevant experience. Benefits include professional development, varied job responsibilities, and employee assistance programs.
You may be eligible to join our team of Advanced Clinical Practitioners (ACPs) at University Hospitals of Derby and Burton (UHDB) if you hold current registration with NMC, HCPC or GPhC. We invite practitioners with the relevant qualifications, motivation, flexibility and experience in clinical practice to apply. This vacancy is for a Qualified Advanced Clinical Practitioner with experience in managing acute presentation in Oncology and Haematology.
The role requires cross-site working and may involve duties in assessment units, chemotherapy units, radiotherapy, inpatient areas and outpatient areas. UHDB’s Advanced Clinical Practice is integral to delivering high-quality, safe patient care. You will join a progressive team that continues to develop to meet patient needs.
Training will support you to become an advanced, skilled, generic practitioner with transferable skills. You will be flexible to meet service needs, and trained ACPs will have opportunities to discuss rotations within the role.
As the Trust aims to provide standardized care seven days a week, you must be available to work a full pattern of shifts including weekends and nights. Cross-site working is established within the ACP team; therefore you should be willing to work across both the RDH and QHB sites. Shift patterns will vary according to the area of practice and service requirements.
