Job Title: Adult Voice Speech and Language Therapist
Banding: Band 6/7
Location: London (Hounslow Community Health)
Start Date: ASAP
Rate: 24.0028.00 per hour
Working Hours: Full-time or Part-time

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Speech and Language Therapist (SALT) with a special interest in Adult Voice to join the dedicated team at Hounslow Community Health. This role offers the opportunity to work within a supportive multidisciplinary environment providing assessment diagnosis and intervention for adults presenting with a range of voice and communication disorders.

The ideal candidate will be confident in delivering specialist voice therapy and committed to improving quality of life and communication outcomes for adults within the community. You will have the flexibility to work on a full-time or part-time basis with immediate start available.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess diagnose and manage adults presenting with voice, speech and communication disorders.
  • Develop and deliver individualised therapy and treatment plans to support functional communication goals.
  • Work collaboratively with other members of the multidisciplinary team to provide holistic person‑centred care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed clinical records in accordance with professional and service standards.
  • Provide advice, education and training to clients, carers and colleagues regarding voice care and communication strategies.
  • Contribute to service development and clinical supervision where appropriate.
Qualifications and Experience
  • A recognised degree in Speech and Language Therapy (or equivalent).
  • HCPC registration and eligibility for membership of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT).
  • Experience in adult voice therapy and communication disorders (NHS or equivalent experience preferred).
  • Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team setting.
