Qualifications

  • Completion of RCSLT Newly Qualified SLT competencies.
  • Car driver with access to own vehicle essential for home visits.

  • Provide therapy in clinic settings and through community home visits.
  • Work autonomously while contributing to a multidisciplinary team.

Job Overview

Pulse is now recruiting an experienced Band 6 or Band 7 Adult Speech and Language Therapist to join a dynamic service based at Beckenham Beacon Hospital with additional homevisit responsibilities across the local community. This ongoing locum role offers flexibility with fulltime or parttime hours and provides the opportunity to work across a varied and rewarding adult caseload.

The successful clinician will deliver highquality assessment and intervention for adults presenting with dysphagia communication difficulties voice disorders and stammering working both in clinic and within patients homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a clinical caseload of adults with dysphagia communication voice and fluency needs
  • Conduct assessments and develop appropriate management and treatment plans
  • Provide therapy in clinic settings and through community home visits
  • Work autonomously while contributing to a wider multidisciplinary team
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Support service delivery and uphold high standards of patient care
Requirements
