Qualifications

• Essential NMC Registration is required.
• Post qualification in haemoglobinopathy patient care is essential.
• Strong post qualification experience in the specialty is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist nursing care for patients with sickle cell disease.
• Perform Automated Red Cell Exchange Transfusions for elective and emergency cases.
• Support and lead the Hydroxycarbamide clinic, including monitoring and patient education.
