Job summary

A local educational institution is seeking an ADT Technician to support the Design and Technology and Arts Faculties. You will ensure practical lessons are well resourced and compliant with Health and Safety legislation. The role involves collaborating with staff and supporting students. This position is term time only, working 37 hours per week, with flexibility for INSET days.

Job description
Overview

An opportunity has arisen for a talented and skilled ADT Technician, who will work as part of the Design and Technology and Arts Faculties to support the learning and teaching of students by ensuring practical lessons are well resourced and compliant with current Health and Safety legislation. Under the direction of the Head of Faculty to contribute to the provision of an efficient and effective technical service to the Design and Technology and Arts Faculties, supporting staff and students of all abilities, across Key Stages 3 and 4, in the classroom. To maintain good working relationships with teaching and support staff and to liaise with other departments / staff in matters related to the technician service. Working 37 hours per week term time only. (Term time includes working 2 out of 5 INSET days each academic year as directed, with availability to work any or all of the remaining 3 INSET days at short notice should the need arise). The role is based at Shirebrook Academy but may, on occasion, involve working at other academies within the trust.
