An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Full‑Time Adoption Agency Advisor within the Shropshire and Telford & Wrekin Council Locality Hub, based in Shrewsbury. The role provides the opportunity to work with colleagues across the two local authorities and wider region to support permanence planning for children with a careplan of adoption. You will provide expert guidance on adoption cases across Shropshire and Telford & Wrekin Council to two Agency Decision Maker's. The role includes quality assurance of Child's Permanence Reports and adoption case files to support best practice and delivery of high‑quality professional advice. You will ensure compliance with adoption regulations.

We are looking for qualified social workers who have experience of working in Adoption, within management / senior practitioner roles. We are seeking practitioners who have enthusiasm, positivity, flexibility, the ability to work to timescales and are committed to contribute to the development of our Adoption Service.

Together4children is a Regional Adoption Agency working in partnership with 4 Local Authorities; Shropshire and Telford & Wrekin Council, Staffordshire County Council and Stoke‑on‑Trent City Council. We are working together to improve outcomes for those children who enter care and are not able to return to their families of origin.
