Job description

CHURCHTOWN COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION The Administrative Assistant will support daily office operations by maintaining filing systems, preparing documents using software such as Word and Excel, and handling routine communications.

Responsibilities
  • To ensure proper financial procedures, details of accounts, expenditure forms and maintenance of all relevant invoices.
  • Pay due care and attention to all matters relating to Health & Safety.
  • Maintain and monitor stock levels of stationery.
  • Draft Routine business communications.
  • Maintaining administrative procedures.
  • Inform clients about available services and activities.
  • File and retrieve documents from an established filing system & open new files.
  • Receive and relay written and verbal messages.
  • Produce copies of documents using photocopying, scanning equipment.
  • Prepare documents using various software packages, e.g., Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of an office environment and general administrative duties.
  • Successful candidate will be subject to Enhanced Access NI & 2 Reference checks.
  • Willingness to undergo training both on & off the job.
  • The ability to work as part of a team and be able to work with the association's various clients.
  • Level 2 Qualification in Business Administration/IT.
  • Child Protection & Safeguarding training.
