Overview

Administration Recovery Officer

Redditch

£23,810 - 37.5 hours per week - rotating shifts between the hours of 8am and 6pm, Monday to Friday.

Company Description

A leader in the debt recovery enforcement sector operating for over 40 years, supporting hundreds of local authorities and Transport for London.

With offices based in Redditch, close to both the M40/M42 motorway network, this role is easily accessible from Birmingham, Worcestershire and Warwickshire.

Position

Due to expansion, our client is looking to recruit Administration Recovery Officers to join their team.

Responsibilities
  • Handling and processing enquiries relating to outstanding Penalty Charge Notices owing to a variety of clients, throughout the UK
  • Reviewing and actioning updates on customer accounts
  • Handling customer correspondence and devising appropriate replies and responses
  • Making outbound calls to contact debtors / third parties in relation to their outstanding account
  • Negotiating payment arrangements with debtors - ensuring guidelines are followed at all times
  • Updating customer databases and systems - accurately, ensuring records remain up to date
  • Reviewing insolvency claims and notifying end customers accordingly
  • Assisting with incoming telephone calls when required from debtors or representatives on their behalf
Requirements
  • Previous practical office administration experience
  • Attention to detail - able to spot errors and rectify mistakes quickly
  • Being comfortable in using a variety of technologies and software systems
  • A positive and results orientated approach in a team environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills - able to interact effectively at all levels
  • Confident in dealing with customers over the telephone - often in difficult circumstances
