Job summary

A local employment agency is seeking a motivated individual for a part-time administrative role focused on event management and community support. Responsibilities include maintaining records, providing administrative assistance, and acting as the first point of contact for enquiries. About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and organised individual to provide efficient day-to-day support for our client. This is a varied role, covering bookings and events, administration, committee support, and services management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as first point of contact for events enquiries, including providing tours and on-the-day support.
  • Assist with organising events, liaising with suppliers and contractors.
  • Maintain records, contracts, invoices, and booking systems.
  • Provide administrative support, including preparing agendas, distributing documents, and minute taking at meetings.
  • Manage services and corresponding records.
  • Reception cover when required.
About You
  • We are seeking someone who is confident, organised, and enjoys working with the community. The ideal candidate will have:
  • Previous administrative experience (local government experience desirable).
  • Good literacy, numeracy, and IT skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Flexibility to occasionally work evenings and weekends for meetings or events.

The role offers 30-hours per week including some work on a Saturday in the future.

Immediate start required.
