A local care home provider in Haywards Heath is seeking a friendly Admin Assistant to provide comprehensive administrative support and reception duties. This part-time role (20hrs/week) involves managing enquiries and ensuring a welcoming environment for visitors and residents. Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years of administrative experience and strong IT skills. The position offers benefits including annual leave and a pension scheme.
We are looking for a friendly and caring Admin Assistant to help the Home Administrator in providing comprehensive administration support together with reception duties. You will be the first point of contact to the visitors and staff at the care home, ensuring that all visitors and callers are dealt with efficiently and professionally, handling telephone enquiries, taking messages, dealing with emails and correspondence. Assisting in maintaining homely environment to our residents.
• Provide administrative support to the Home Administrator and carry out reception duties as required.
• Manage telephone enquiries, take messages and handle emails and correspondence in a professional manner.
• Ensure a welcoming and homely environment for residents, visitors and staff.
Hours of work: 20hrs per week over 4 days including every other weekend. Please note that this role is part of a job share between two people working a rota basis.
