Adjunct Faculty - Chemistry (On Campus - Saturday's)

Manchester Community College is seeking qualified individuals who are interested in adjunct teaching at the College on a course‑by‑course basis; a strong academic background is required.

We are accepting applications for instructors to teach Chemistry (Foundations of Chemistry) on campus. Must be available to teach on Saturday’s.

Required Minimum Qualifications
  • Education: Master’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university with a major study in Chemistry. Possession of a Bachelor’s degree in Education shall require an Associate’s degree in a subject area closely related to Chemistry.
  • Experience: Two years of teaching experience in Chemistry or three years of business or industry experience directly related to the field of Chemistry.

Adjunct appointments are temporary, for a specified contract period and may require in‑classroom or online instruction.

Compensation
  • Level 1 – $825.00 per contact hour
  • Level 2 – $900.00 per contact hour
  • Level 3 – $975.00 per contact hour
