Overview

Associate Director level Commercial Valuation Surveyor – MRICS / FRICS. Home working. Hiring in London and Greater London. Basic salary £70,000 - £80,000, no car allowance, 2.5% bonus over agreed threshold.

Client profile: founded ~15 years ago, team of around 70, primarily London and Southeast England, focused on secured lending work. 38 valuers in total, covering all sectors. The culture is autonomous, flexible, yet supportive; the firm is known for good pay practices and a basic-salary-led structure rather than commission-driven pay.

Responsibilities

• Work mainly on residential and commercial secured lending valuations.
• Valuation on bank panels and with panel managers (VAS panel, CVN, Method, Appraisers UK, etc.) and direct relationships with banks (e.g., Lloyds, MFS, Market Financial Solutions).
• Handle private instructions from developers and similar clients.
• Typical workload: 2–3 jobs per week, depending on complexity.
• Maintain high reporting standards, attention to detail, and up-to-date knowledge in the field.

Requirements

• Ability to work remotely with traditional home-working arrangements; five days per week remote, with occasional office visit if stated.

Bonus scheme: 50% of all billing over a threshold target, with 25% to the individual surveyor and 25% to a team pot for those not directly eligible for the bonus.
