Overview

Formula Fast is fast-growing, independently owned & operated destination, located near Stadium:MK in Milton Keynes.

We're known for our high-end experiences, which currently include Karting, Escape Rooms and Axe Throwing, as well as being the hosts of the British Rental Kart Championship. We're also the highest rated indoor motorsport venue in the UK - thanks to our amazing crew.

We're currently recruiting for the position of Activity Host.

You'll be a key part of the team, hosting our award-winning events in a customer facing-role, and engaging with a variety of ages, activities and group types.

Responsibilities
  • Greeting & helping register guests for their event
  • Overseeing that day's reservations on our booking system
  • Preparing the venue for events, keeping the venue clean and presentable throughout the day
  • Assisting with fitting and checking all safety equipment
  • Delivering briefings and presentations
  • Hosting & supervising our activities (Race Marshals are a separate role)
  • Giving tips on how to improve, and feedback on results
  • Serving drinks and snacks at our Cafe-Bar
  • Keeping everything running to a tight schedule - timekeeping is essential
  • Generally seeing that customers are cared for during their time at the venue

Our hiring process involves a video or in-person chat with our senior team, as well as a practical (and fun!) assessment at the venue, OR trial shift, dependant on the role.

Previous experience in a relevant customer-facing position is an advantage but not essential (all training provided).

Due to the nature of our business, evening and weekend availability is essential.
