A regional police force in Milton Keynes seeks individuals for an Acting/Secondment role as Sergeant/Detective Sergeant in the Force Intelligence Hub. The successful candidates will supervise staff and oversee intelligence functions, ensuring effective communication and management of risks related to intelligence. Essential training such as PIP2 accreditation is required, and the role supports flexible working arrangements. Applications must be completed by 23:55 on 4th December 2025.

This role is not suitable for the WBA.
In this role, you will be responsible for supervising Force Intelligence Hub staff and functions for LPA’s. Provide Resilience to other Intelligence Hub supervisors. Responsible for ensuring that all intelligence received is scrutinised, evaluated and where appropriate, disseminated effectively. Participate as a key member of the Force Intelligence team in identifying subjects, crime series, High Risk issues and priority locations, while stimulating the intelligence flow within the organisation. To identify, prioritise and ensure effective management of risk and harm related intelligence. To enhance structured intelligence gathering and analysis by assisting the Intelligence Hub in developing resolutions and strategies for the detection of offences and Crime Reduction Initiatives.
This role requires an enhanced level of vetting. All successful candidates will be contacted by vetting and instructed to complete a set of vetting forms. The successful candidates must obtain the proper clearances prior to commencing the role.
