Job description

This role sits within the Corporate Shared Service Centre, which provides multiple shared services for the delivery of core business processes relating to Payroll, Scanning & Storage and Accounts Payable & Receivable to support all our businesses within the Group. The CSSC Performance and Improvement team improve process efficiencies allowing CSSC to support all our customer needs whilst striving for effectiveness and efficiency in all our service delivery.

Responsibilities
  • Processing cash received from Local Authorities and allocating to correct tenant accounts
  • Posting of cash from Sanctuary schemes to relevant accounts
  • Assist in maintenance of financial records ensuring accuracy, completeness and adherence to financial controls
  • Contribute to the collection of data to support root cause analysis for queries and make recommendations to support improvements
  • Assist in the development of accounts receivable administration and processes to provide efficient, customer focused services across the Group
  • Reconcile bank accounts in a timely manner, identifying any reconciling items that need investigating and escalating as appropriate
  • Provide managers and colleagues with clear guidance and advice, in response to accounts receivable queries, ensuring compliance with Group policy and relevant legislation
Qualifications
  • Numeracy and literacy to the equivalent of Grade C English and Maths GCSE
  • Proven experience of working in a fast paced, Shared Service Centre role
  • Experience of administration processes relating to accounts
  • Excellent interpersonal and transactional skills
  • Proficient user of Microsoft packages including Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams

Role salary is £24,832 with an additional policy allowance of £2,483 per annum.
