Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable professional to join a Not For Profit organisation. This temporary role involves managing financial transactions and ensuring accurate record-keeping in the Accounting & Finance department.


Client Details

This opportunity is with a well-established, medium-sized Not For Profit organisation. The company is known for its commitment to making a positive impact and operates within a supportive and professional environment.


Description


  • Ordering petty cash and reconciling on a weekly basis. Making petty cash payments and managing the distribution and collection of trip and other cash floats, including recording the entries on the accounting system.

  • Processing non-fee sales ledger transactions and management of the debtor process for them.

  • Collection of receipts for corporate cards and post journal on a monthly basis.

  • Process transactions for the School\'s Caxton cards and foreign currency and recording transactions thereon.

  • Ensuring that financial planning sheets have been received and reviewed for all upcoming trips and events.

  • Preparing reconciliation sheets for day trips, events and other recharged items including those that are billed -buses and taxis etc.

  • Maintain records of the charity fundraising activities for the school and make payments to them.

  • Assisting with year-end audit.

  • To be personally committed to the process of continuous improvement at the School taking part in development and training activities.

  • To be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

  • Undertake any other duties reasonably requested to support the finance and accountancy team in their day-to-day activities.


Profile

The successful Accounts Receivable applicant will have experience in the above and be on short notice
