Overview

Responsible for providing back office finance admin support, the Accounts Payable Administrator will ensure all overhead, property and commercial vendor payments related to all Superdrug and Savers stores are accounted for and reported correctly, supporting the brands to continue to trade efficiently and delight customers across all channels. This role reports to the AP Manager for AS Watson Health & Beauty UK. A typical day in this role includes: ensuring all invoices are processed in a timely manner; proactively responding to and resolving stakeholder and supplier queries and escalating where necessary; processing and prioritising payments in line with payment schedule and business need; reconciling all bank accounts and investigating to ensure cleared on a timely basis; reconciling vendor accounts to statements and following best practice in relation to vendor balance sheet accounts; championing finance policies, processes and procedures; supporting the continual development of processes and procedures to improve efficiency; ensuring accurate reporting and compliance processes are followed, including completion of all month end tasks; regular review of supplier aging and development of action plans to resolve aged items; interacting with a variety of stakeholders including Commercial, supply chain, procurement, property functions, and key vendors and suppliers from outside the BU; other ad hoc activities as directed. Hours: 37.5 per week, 9.00am – 5.30pm.

  • Regular review of supplier aging and development of action plans to resolve aged items
  • Interacting with stakeholders across Commercial, supply chain, procurement, property functions and key vendors and suppliers
  • Undertaking other ad hoc activities as directed
