Are you a well-rounded accountant with experience across accounts, VAT, and client management - and happy to handle a bit of payroll? This boutique North London firm is known for its high-quality service to a loyal client base of high-net-worth individuals and businesses. They're now looking for a personable and proactive Client Manager to join their small, friendly team.

The Accounts Manager Role:

Client management - be the key point of contact for a varied portfolio, building strong relationships and delivering consistently high service.

Accounts & VAT - prepare VAT returns, manage bookkeeping (QuickBooks/Xero), and ensure compliance with FRS102/FRS105.

Payroll (approx. 5 days per month) - oversee monthly and weekly payrolls for a selection of clients, ensuring compliance and accuracy.

Tax exposure - the opportunity to get involved in personal and corporate tax work depending on your experience.

Who They're Looking For:

Qualified or QBE - with solid experience in general practice, especially accounts and VAT.

A strong communicator - confident liaising directly with clients and guiding them through their compliance and advisory needs.

Flexible and friendly - the team culture is relaxed but professional, and they value people who bring positivity and initiative.

Comfortable handling payroll, though this is only a small part of the role (around 5 days a month).

Why Join?

A firm that punches above its weight - working with impressive clients in a relaxed, no-egos environment.

Hybrid working available (ideally 2-3 days in the office).

Loads of free parking, casual dress code, and a genuinely supportive team.

Great work-life balance - long lunches encouraged (golf range, anyone?).

Interview process: One face-to-face meeting, with a quick decision.

Interested? Send over your CV - we'd love to hear from you.
