About the Role:

Agility Resourcing is delighted to partner with a prominent business in Southport, seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join their dynamic team on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced accounts professional to contribute to a thriving business and further develop their career.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure the timely processing of transactions.
  • Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts.
  • Reconcile bank statements and manage accounts payable and receivable.
  • Support the finance team with budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Handle queries related to invoices and payments.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports and documentation for audits.
  • Perform general administrative duties as required.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous experience in a similar accounts assistant role.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
