A top tier accountancy firm in Maidstone seeks an Accounts Assistant Manager to support their growing team. In this role, you will manage financial statements and client relationships while ensuring compliance with statutory deadlines. Ideal candidates will be ACA/ACCA qualified with experience in consolidations and a strong skill set in communication and organization. Qualifications

  • Experience producing single-entity and group accounts.
  • Knowledge of IFRS is advantageous, but not essential.

Responsibilities

  • Review financial statements, consolidations, and group company accounts.
  • Liaise with audit teams and resolve technical queries.
  • Manage statutory filing deadlines and ensure compliance.
  • Prepare and review corporation tax computations.
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff.
  • Manage a client portfolio, monitor budgets, and ensure quality delivery.
  • Act as a technical point of contact for the wider team.

As an Accounts Assistant Manager within the accounts team, you'll go beyond the numbers. You'll build lasting client relationships, deliver valuable insights, and play a key role in helping businesses achieve their goals.

Due to the nature of the clients, it's essential you have experience of consolidations.

Responsibilities
  • Reviewing financial statements, consolidations, and group company accounts
  • Liaising with audit teams and resolving technical queries
  • Managing statutory filing deadlines and ensuring compliance
  • Preparing and reviewing corporation tax computations
  • Supervising and mentoring junior staff
  • Managing a client portfolio, monitoring budgets, and ensuring quality delivery

Requirements
