Accounts Assistant

Temporary Ongoing

Location: Leicester, LE9

Salary: £25,000 - £27,000

Hours: Monday to Friday; client would consider full time or part time

MUST HAVE SAGE 100 EXPERIENCE

Start date: as soon as possible

Key Duties
  • Enter sales and purchase invoices into Sage 100
  • Make supplier payments
  • Send out customer invoices and record payments
  • Match bank statements with Sage 100 records
  • Keep accounts up to date and fix any errors
  • Check customer credit limits
  • Help with monthly reports
  • Help reconcile stock records in Sage
  • Match purchase orders with deliveries and invoices
  • Work with other departments to sort out payment or invoice issues
  • Support senior finance staff on other projects
  • Keep customer and supplier details up to date in Sage 100
Key Skills
  • Previous experience with Sage 100
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office)
  • At least 2 years within a finance-based role
