Job description

Jenson Fisher are delighted to be partnering with a recognisable, innovative and long established company based in Dundee who are looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant on a permanent, full time basis. In a role that will suit someone with previous experience in a high volume, commercial environment you will work as part of a small team to ensure that daily financial deadlines are met and transactions are processed accurately and on time.

On a day to day basis your responsibilities will include:


  • Purchase ledger processing including reconciling supplier statements.

  • Matching invoices to purchase orders and delivery notes.

  • Resolve invoice queries as they arise and escalate when required.

  • Preparation and collation of VAT information.

  • Calculating accruals and prepayments.

  • Playing a key supporting role during the month-end and year-end processes processes.

  • General accounts administration.

  • Daily use of both Sage and Microsoft Excel.
