Accounts Assistant - £27,000

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Assistant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the organisation’s financial operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in data entry, accounts payable, and utilisation of various accounting software.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with processing accounts payable transactions accurately and promptly.
  • Perform data entry tasks related to invoices, payments, and other financial documents with high attention to detail.
  • Support month-end closing activities by reconciling accounts and preparing reports.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to ensure compliance with organisational policies and procedures.
  • Help in managing supplier and vendor communications regarding payments and account queries.
  • Contribute to maintaining organised financial documentation for audit purposes.
  • Assist with ad hoc administrative tasks related to finance operations as required.
Experience
  • Previous experience working within a finance or accounts department is desirable but not essential; training will be provided.
