Job description

Due to continued growth we are looking for a part-time Accounts & Payroll Assistants to join our busy finance team based in a new Leigh office.

This role is ideal for candidates with experience in accounts and payroll who are looking for flexible working hours.

Work days and hours :

Monday to Friday

9 : 00 - 13 : 00 or

13 : 00 - 17 : 00

Pay Rate :

Starting from £12.21 p / h

Key Responsibilities :
  • Assisting with weekly and monthly payroll processing
  • Processing timesheets, expenses and invoices
  • Maintaining accurate financial payroll records
  • Annual holiday calculations
  • Supporting accounts payable and receivable functions
  • Handling payroll and accounts queries from candidates and clients
  • General finance and administrative support as required
  • Management of external account ledgers
  • Credit control
Requirements :
  • Previous experience in accounts and / or payroll role
  • Good understanding of payroll processes and basic accounting principles
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting / payroll software Sage
  • Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
