The successful candidate will manage and develop the Council's financial systems, oversee upgrades, and implement controls to ensure quality data. Candidates should have experience with Advanced E5 and extensive accounting experience, alongside strong IT and management skills. This position offers a pay rate of £24.46 per hour for full-time hours.

We are looking for an experienced Accounting Systems Manager to join the Finance, Performance and Change department within the Chief Executive Directorate. In this pivotal role, you will manage, maintain, and develop the Council's financial systems, including the purchase ledger and Council Tax systems. You will be responsible for resolving ongoing issues following a recent finance system upgrade (E5) and leading the implementation of a new reporting package.
