Job Overview

Processing accounting entries and numerous recharges within our UK Group subsidiaries ensuring completion of month‑end processes within the required deadlines.

Analysing/posting prepayments and accruals with the result of reconciling the balance sheet.

Ad‑hoc project analysis to support any significant investments or business acquisitions.

Qualifications

• Currently completing an Accounting + Finance or similar relevant Degree.
• Able to complete this Placement as a sandwich year in your studies.
• Future ambitions of completing one of ACCA/CIMA (study support provided).
• Able to throw yourself in at the deep end and thrive in a fast paced, commercial environment.
• Hard working and willingness to learn is essential.
• Collaborative approach to work, always take the team with you and able to build relationships with colleagues at all levels of an organisation.
• Able to be based at our Shirebrook HQ for the duration of the placement year.

Recruitment Process

Our Recruitment Team will be reviewing applications and all candidates will receive a response, whether you are successful or unsuccessful.

Shortlisted applicants may be asked to confirm a few key details before being booked in for a first stage interview with the Recruiter – this will be behaviourally focussed and centred around how you align with our Culture and Values.

If successful we anticipate two further interview stages with the Hiring Manager/wider team which will be more technically focussed.
