Qualifications

  • Experience of working in a manufacturing environment would be an advantage.
  • Able to present and explain complex data in appropriate ways.

About the role

To assist the Accounts Manager to control Draeger's finances and accounting records in accordance with external and internal regulatory requirements; to provide accurate and timely reporting to local management and parent company in accordance with Group requirements.

  1. Monthly reporting to parent company in accordance with Group reporting requirements including achieving all required deadlines.
  2. Propose and implement day to day processes and procedures to drive efficiency and value-for-money.
  3. Proactively ensure all balance sheet reconciliations are complete and accurate.
  4. Review monthly results and perform variance analysis where applicable. Ensuring discrepancies are resolved and supported by reconciliation backup.
  5. Full responsibility for fixed asset records, ensuring accurate and up to date financial records.
  6. Specific responsibility for VAT, CIS, Intrastat and related regulatory external reporting.
  7. Key User for SAP (FI) and specifically Asset Accounting functionality.
  8. Support with annual audit to ensure all deadlines are met.
  9. First line support for the Accounts Payable and Receivable teams.
  10. To check expenses and receipts to ensure they're accurately recorded and carry out ad-hoc reconciliation of accounts.
  11. Actively prepare and seek financial information to support business decisions.
  12. Process company expense journals and reconciliations in a timely manner.
  13. Provide cover and support for Accounts Manager.

Highly numerate with the ability to deliver financial results, information and have strong communication, organisational and interpersonal skill.
