Overview

The Accountant role offers a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a small and growing Outsourcing accounts team in South Oxfordshire. Our client is a professional services firm providing outsourcing accounting and advisory services to SME clients across a range of industries. This firm has a supportive team culture and prioritises providing an excellent service to their clients.

Responsibilities

• Preparing Management accounts and Year-end accounts
• Assisting with preparing cashflow forecasts
• Preparing tax and VAT returns
• Preparing and reviewing payroll reconciliations
• Communicating with clients to understand their requirements and ensure provision of an excellent standard of service
• Supporting and training junior members of the team

Profile

The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent) with previous experience gained in a client-facing accountant role and with strong accounting knowledge. You will also have excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong client relationships and work well as part of a team.
