My client is looking for a recent graduate to start an entry-level position in a dynamic and forward-thinking Accountancy practice. You'll be starting on doing more basic tasks and then will be given more complex tasks over time. Once a week you'll get one on one time with one of the partners for expert mentoring.

Responsibilities:

  • prepare financial statements, business plans, commentaries and budgets for management or client reports
  • regularly undertake audits, involving the examination of the organisation's accounts, analysing risk, inspecting the organisation's current practices, investigating any financial irregularities and recommending improvements
  • review, implement and adapt new and existing financial systems and controls
  • produce and analyse annual and monthly accounts
  • manage expenditure, credit, payroll, and investments
  • advise clients on areas of business improvement

Our Requirements:

  • Must have a 2:1 or above in Accountancy / Maths / Economics / Business
  • 300 UCAS points
  • Proficient spreadsheet and ICT skills
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Commitment to high standards of service delivery
