Commercial Controller

Location: Salford area, Greater Manchester

Contract: 12-month fixed term (possibility of going permanent)

Working: Hybrid

Are you a sales-savvy, commercially aware all-rounder who thrives on numbers, strategy, and high performance? My client is looking for a Business Sector Controller to lead the large accounts and create growth on their products. This is a high-calibre, hands-on role for someone who loves independence, delivering results, and shaping strategy.

What You’ll Do

Take commercial ownership and nurture and develop large accounts.

You’ll be in the market, engaging buyers, supply chain teams, and marketing to maximise every opportunity.

Deliver strategy and volume growth, monitoring performance and taking proactive action to hit targets.

Identify new business opportunities using market trends, competitor insights, and data analysis.

Engage internal teams, marketing, supply chain, operations to drive commercial success.

Lead and mentor two Business Account Executives.

Run effective meetings, reviewing past performance, tracking progress, and implementing improvements.

Represent my client in the market, visiting stores and identifying initiatives that drive sales.

Keep up-to-date with current market trends and competitor activity to stay ahead.
