Overview

We are looking for an Account Handler to join an award winning, Chartered Insurance Broker in the North West.

You will be responsible for the full insurance cycle of your book, handling new business enquiries, renewals and mid-term adjustments. Requiring brilliant attention to detail and first-rate customer service. You will also need outstanding communication skills and insurance industry knowledge to get to know each client and help them understand the ever-changing world of insurance.

Working hours are 9am - 5pm, Monday to Friday. They have a newly refurbished office space with collaborative areas and a fantastic team that work well together and support each other. Flexible working is also available.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the full insurance cycle for your book of business, including new business enquiries, renewals and mid-term adjustments.
  • Provide excellent customer service with strong attention to detail.
  • Utilise insurance knowledge and communication skills to help clients understand insurance options and changes.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 GCSEs or equivalent including Maths and English at A-C/4-9 level.

Salary and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary up to £30k, negotiable depending on experience, plus Christmas bonus, private medical, life assurance, support with CII qualifications (if this is of interest), 25 days annual leave (which increases with service) plus extra days holiday at Christmas that are not taken from your annual entitlement.
