Job description: As an Account Manager for a global insurance and captive management business, you will be responsible for financial reporting, compliance, and insurance, supported by the leadership team. You will have direct contact with client contacts across various departments, including controllership, risk management, tax, legal, and others, as well as auditors, actuaries, and investment managers.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Financial reporting for client accounts and serving as the primary contact for various departments.
  2. Driving communication and processes within client service teams to ensure quality and timeliness of financial reporting and regulatory filings.
  3. Coordinating efforts with outside service providers such as actuaries, auditors, investment managers, brokers, claims adjusters, and outside counsel to meet client needs.
  4. Communicating and implementing business plan changes with regulators.
  5. Preparing and presenting materials during client board meetings.

Skills and experience required:

  • Proven experience in senior accounting/finance roles, preferably within Captive Management and/or Insurance.
  • Accounting degree, CPA, or insurance designation(s) is advantageous but not essential.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience.
  • Track record of increasing efficiency and improving methods.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Effectiveness in client presentations.
