Overview

At an exciting time in its history, Birmingham Newman University is looking to recruit a new Academic Registrar. On the eve of the publication of our new strategic plan, and during a time of significant growth and success, we are excited to welcome a leader who can contribute to the next phase in our development.

Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the Deputy Vice‑Chairman, the Academic Registrar upholds the value of our academic awards and leads all aspects of student administration at the university. The Academic Registrar has oversight and responsibility for all administration processes underpinning the student journey, including their registration and enrolment and the conferment of academic awards.

Qualifications

We are looking for an experienced leader of high‑performing teams who is capable of being a real catalyst for change and continuous improvement across the Academic Registry. The ideal candidate can think strategically, and can ensure we translate that thinking into effective operational practices.
