Overview

GR Employment Ltd is currently recruiting a 7.5‑tonne Courier Driver to be based at one of our key customer sites in the Leeds Howley Park area. This role involves the daily delivery and collection of shipments, ensuring that our customers enjoy a consistently high‑quality service enhanced by your speed, passion, and a can‑do attitude.

Shifts available

Monday to Friday 9 AM - 7:45 PM

Pay rate

£16.05 per hour between 6 AM and 6 PM

£18.77 per hour between 6 PM and 6 AM

Key responsibilities

• Multi Drop - approx 6 to 10 bulk deliveries, then collecting afterwards
• Drivers will be responsible for loading their own vans
• Accurately record driving and working hours in line with road transport legislation.
• Carry out daily vehicle safety checks and ensure proper vehicle maintenance.
• Adhere to company driving standards, including safe loading and load security.

Job qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence with C1 entitlement (7.5 ton).
• Digital Tachograph Card and CPC qualification.
• Minimum 2 years’ professional driving experience (insurance requirement).
• Prior multi-drop courier experience (preferred).
• Strong customer‑facing skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Keen attention to detail and the ability to work quickly and efficiently.
• Knowledge of transport regulations and health & safety standards.
• For insurance purposes, you must be at least 21 years old and have no more than 9 penalty points on your driving licence within the last 3 years.
