4 Mornings a week – Nanny/Housekeeper (Upper Basildon, Berkshire)

This busy family is looking for an experienced Nanny/Housekeeper to help run their home. The required days are Tuesday – Friday, from 7am to 12 midday. They have two boys at different schools; one is driven to school by the nanny, while the mother drives the other. After return, the nanny tidies the home, does laundry, changes and makes beds, and performs housekeeping duties until 12pm.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive one child to school each morning (Tuesday – Friday).
• Assist with childcare, ensuring smooth transitions.
• Housekeeping from 7am to noon: tidying, laundry, making/changing beds and general maintenance.

Working Hours & Salary

• Days: Tuesday – Friday
• Hours: 7am – 12midday
• Salary: £18‑£20 gross per hour (approximately £18,720‑£20,800 per annum)
• Job start: ASAP
• Driver: Yes (licence required)
• Pets: No
• Position: Permanent

Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years working with children of the same age.
• Childcare qualifications not essential but preferred.
• Up‑to‑date DBS on the Update Service.
• 12‑hour Paediatric First Aid Certificate, or willingness to obtain.
• Minimum two professional referees, one of whom must be a current or former employer and be contactable immediately.
