A regional healthcare provider in Barnsley is seeking an experienced Children's Nurse to become a Paediatric Coordinator. This role involves managing patient journeys across various children's services while ensuring high standards of clinical practice. Candidates should possess strong communication and organisational skills and the ability to thrive under pressure. We are looking for an experienced Childrens Nurse to transition into the role of paediatric coordinator. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop both your managerial and leadership skills whilst maintaining your clinical competencies. As Paediatric Coordinator, you will have an overview of the service from both a clinical and operational perspective on each shift. You will work as part of the multidisciplinary team to effectively manage each patient's journey through the organisation. Excellent communication skills are essential as you will communicate with patients and their families, liaise with colleagues at all levels, external agencies and provide daily reports to the senior leadership and site teams. You must be organised and able to make sound decisions under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
