Overview

This lovely position has become available for an experienced, kind, caring, fun Nanny to work for this professional family in Woodstock, Oxfordshire. The role is to start ASAP; mum is on maternity leave and will be returning to work in August/September. Children are 3-month-old twins, a 3-year-old and a 5-year-old. Initially the role is shared care; it will become sole charge when mum returns to work later in the year. The family is looking for a Nanny for 3 days a week, with flexible choice of the 3 days and hours of 7:00am or 7:30am to 5:00pm. Salary is £18-£20 gross per hour. They want a Nanny who is easy-going, energetic and cheerful, and who will enjoy planning fun, age-appropriate activities and ideally has Montessori experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide consistent care for two very young children and two older children as needed.
• Initially support the family on a shared-care basis and transition to sole charge when Mum returns to work.
• Plan and engage in age-appropriate activities to support development.
• Maintain a safe, nurturing, and positive environment.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum Experience: 2+ years working with children of similar ages and in a similar role.
• Training & Qualifications: Childcare qualifications essential.
• DBS: Up-to-date on the DBS update service.
• First Aid: 12-hour Paediatric First Aid certificate or willingness to obtain.
• References: Minimum of 2 professional referees, one of which must be your current or last employer and contactable.
• Other: Valid driver’s license (Driver: Yes).
