Responsibilities

This family is looking for an experienced Nanny/Housekeeper to help run their busy large home in Cold Ash, near Newbury in Berkshire. The role is 70% housekeeping and 30% nanny care alongside stay‑at‑home mother – with a slight adjustment to increased nanny care during school holidays. They are looking for someone who is kind, energetic, and organised and who is happy to work shared care or take sole charge of their three children, who are ages 2, 4 and 6 years old. The role involves taking the children to clubs, and school pick‑ups etc so a confident driver is essential, and a car is provided for on duty. The right person would be responsible for all housekeeping duties, family laundry, ironing, putting away and cleaning and tidying. The family can offer 3 days a week and the hours would ideally be 8am-7pm and one of the 3 days must be a Friday. Qualifications & Experience

Minimum Experience Level for this job: 2+ years working with children of the same age.

Training and Qualifications needed for this job: Childcare qualifications not essential for this role.

Additional Requirements

You must also have an up to date DBS on the update service and a 12‑hour Paediatric First Aid Certificate or be willing to obtain, along with a minimum of 2 professional referees one of which must be your current or last employer that are immediately contactable.
