Job summary

A well-established IT solutions organization based in Watford is seeking an experienced 2nd and 3rd Line Support Engineer. The ideal candidate will maintain high customer service standards while providing support via phone, remote access, and email. Job description

My client is a well established IT solutions organisation based in Watford, Herts who are seeking an experience 2 nd and 3rd Line Support Engineer to deal with customer issues.

Responsibilities
  • To maintain a high degree of customer service for all support queries and adhere to all service management principles
  • Provide telephone, remote and email support
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network and peripheral technical issues to customer's satisfaction via remote support
  • Monitor and proactively resolve issues with remote back‑up systems
  • Visit customer sites when required
  • Supporting and mentoring colleagues with any technical limitations
  • Assist with support calls on the helpdesk
Requirements
  • Microsoft Server and Desktop operating systems (SBS/2012/2016/2019 Server/7/8/10)
  • Core Microsoft infrastructure technologies and solutions (Exchange, IIS, AD, RDS)
  • Backup technologies including Veeam, Cloud Connect, Acronis, Backup Exec
  • Server hardware maintenance and troubleshooting
