About the Client

The client is insulin‑dependent and requires consistent, skilled support. The role is ideal for someone with strong experience in diabetes care and insulin administration who can confidently manage day‑to‑day health needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide full live‑in support for an insulin‑dependent client.
  • Administer insulin safely in accordance with Diabetes and Insulin Administration Level 3 (or nursing standards).
  • Monitor blood glucose levels and respond to fluctuations appropriately.
  • Assist with daily living activities, personal care, mobility, and general household tasks.
  • Maintain accurate records regarding medication, health observations, and daily routines.
  • Offer companionship, emotional support, and a stable presence during the temporary assignment.
Requirements
  • Female caregiver (as requested by the client).
Qualifications
  • Diabetes & Insulin Administration Level 3 or Registered/Trained Nurse.
  • Proven experience supporting clients with diabetes.
  • Strong communication skills and confidence in managing medical routines.
  • Ability to commit to the full 4‑week assignment.
  • Minimum education: Secondary (or unfinished).
Language & Other Requirements
  • Carer must speak and write English at B2 level.
  • Carer should ideally be a non‑smoker.
  • Must have previous care experience.
  • Documents needed: up‑to‑date passport, EU settlement status. Reference from previous jobs.

    You would need: Confirmation of your eligibility to live and work in the UK – settlement or pre‑settlement, work permit after Brexit.
