Job Description:

The role:

This role will be based within the Connections Reform Programme team focused on designing and implementing a reformed Connections process to achieve quicker connections for viable and Net Zero aligned projects, as well as a more coordinated and efficient network design that benefits customers and consumers.

Responsibilities:

  • Subject matter expert on risk management and governance - driving best practice across the programme.
  • Work closely with project managers and planners to produce regular risk reports on programme-level risks and ensure risk logs are maintained.
  • Build strong stakeholder relationships at all levels.
  • Manage the governance cadence and administration for the programme, including preparing governance packs for senior stakeholders (such as Programme Delivery Meeting, Decision Board, and Connections Alignment Group), capturing meeting minutes, and following up on actions.
  • Manage the Change Advisory Board (CAB) and related processes.
  • Arrange Connections Reform programme townhalls.
  • Oversee the deliverables review plan (DRP), working with the team to understand the current state of delivery.

Requirements:

  • Experience working on complex programmes.
  • Utilities/Energy background preferred.
  • Risk Management and Governance experience.
