Job description

Zero Hour Prescription Delivery Driver

Location: 538 branch, 9 Fairburn Drive, Garforth, Leeds, LS25 2AR. Branch hours Monday to Friday 08:15 to 18:00. The role is on a permanent contract. 11249 is the job reference.

Key Responsibilities

Your main responsibilities will be to promptly and conscientiously deliver prescription items to private houses, nursing and residential homes. You must deliver within the designated period of time and provide a high standard of customer service, portraying a professional image and acting as an ambassador for the Cohens brand. Attention to detail is paramount, ensuring prescriptions are delivered in line with the company’s regulated procedures. You will also plan and print your daily routes in the branch before set off, and may assist with PR exercises to increase business.

Remuneration and Expense

Reimbursement for mileage undertaken on business journeys will be at a rate of 40p per mile up to 10,000 miles, after which 25p per mile will be reimbursed as per HMRC guidelines. Fuel receipts must be obtained for each visit to the petrol station and the mileage claim submitted on a weekly basis.
